Contextual Help
Kanman provides contextual help throughout the application, making it easy to find documentation for the feature you’re currently using.
Help Button
The Help button in the header provides quick access to documentation and resources:

Access documentation from anywhere in the app
- Getting Started - Learn the basics of using Kanman
- Keyboard Shortcuts - View all available keyboard shortcuts
- Full Documentation - Open the complete documentation site
The help button is always visible in the top navigation bar, marked with a question mark icon.

Inline Help Icons
Throughout the app, you’ll find small help icons (?) next to feature titles and sections. These provide:

Hover over help icons to see a description
- Contextual links - Each help icon links directly to the relevant documentation page
- Tooltips - Hover over any help icon to see a brief description
- Language awareness - Help links open in your preferred language (English or German)
Where to Find Help Icons
Help icons appear in key locations:
- Settings tabs - Each settings section (Profile, Security, Preferences, etc.)
- Board forms - When creating or editing boards
- Task forms - When creating or editing tasks
- Empty states - When you’re just getting started
- Feature sections - Notes, Trash, and other feature areas
Quick Tips
- Click any help icon to open the relevant documentation in a new tab
- Hover first to see what the help topic covers
- Use keyboard shortcuts - Press
?to see all available shortcuts
