Manage your Kanman subscription, payment methods, and invoices.

Manage your Kanman subscription and billing through our Stripe-powered billing portal.

Accessing Billing

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. You’ll be redirected to the billing portal

Billing Portal

The billing portal lets you:

  • View subscription details
  • Update payment method
  • Download invoices
  • Cancel subscription

Payment Methods

Supported Methods

We accept:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Some regional payment methods

Updating Payment

  1. Open billing portal
  2. Click Update payment method
  3. Enter new card details
  4. Save changes

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. You’ll receive an email notification
  2. Subscription enters “past due” status
  3. Update payment method within 7 days
  4. Service continues during this grace period

Invoices

Viewing Invoices

  1. Open billing portal
  2. Go to Invoice history
  3. Click any invoice to view/download

Invoice Contents

Each invoice includes:

  • Plan name and period
  • Amount charged
  • VAT/tax (if applicable)
  • Payment method used

Automatic Emails

Invoice emails are sent:

  • On successful payment
  • On payment failure
  • On subscription changes

Subscription Management

Current Subscription

View your subscription status:

Field Description
Plan Personal, Pro, or Teams
Status Active, Past Due, Canceled
Renewal Date Next billing date
Seats Number of seats (Teams only)

Upgrading

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Upgrade
  3. Choose new plan
  4. Complete payment

You’ll be charged the prorated difference immediately.

Downgrading

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select lower plan
  4. Confirm

Downgrade takes effect at end of billing period.

Adding Seats (Teams)

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Add Seats
  3. Enter number of seats
  4. Complete payment

New seats available immediately.

Removing Seats (Teams)

  1. Remove members first (Settings > Workspace)
  2. Go to Settings > Subscription
  3. Click Reduce Seats
  4. Confirm

Change takes effect at next renewal.

Cancellation

How to Cancel

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation

What Happens

  • Access continues until billing period ends
  • No refunds for partial periods
  • Data retained for 90 days after expiration
  • Can resubscribe anytime

Reactivating

If you cancel and change your mind:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Reactivate
  3. Subscription continues without interruption

Personal €49/year
Pro €99/year
Teams €120/seat/year (min 3)

All prices include applicable taxes.

Receipts for Business

For business expense reports:

  1. Open billing portal
  2. Click Update billing information
  3. Add:
    • Company name
    • VAT ID (if in EU)
    • Billing address
  4. Save changes

Future invoices will include this information.
